Want to learn how to make resin projects at home? It can be overwhelming to invest in all the products before seeing if resin is a medium for you. How do you choose the right resin for your project? How does the medium work? How much do you need? You've landed at the perfect workshop for all your questions!

During the workshop, you will have the opportunity to explore various techniques and create your very own epoxy nesting trays. Our experienced instructors will guide you through the entire process, from selecting colourful pigments and glitters to pouring and de-gassing the epoxy. You'll also learn how to add captivating designs, colors, and effects to make your tray truly one-of-a-kind.

Whether you're a beginner or an experienced crafter, this workshop is designed to provide an enjoyable and hands-on experience for all skill levels. Don't miss out on this chance to learn a new skill, meet fellow enthusiasts, and take home a stunning epoxy tray that you can proudly display or gift to someone special.

So, grab your friends or come solo and join us for an evening of creativity, laughter, and epoxy magic! Limited spots are available, so make sure to reserve your spot today.

Materials included in the class:

-160 ml resin per person (enough for both trays and a little extra)

-Gloves

-All mixing supplies (stir sticks, pails, acetone, etc)

-Glitters, beads, stickers, flowers, gold foil, lots of stuff to add!

-Take-home information sheet

Also, a general liability waiver must be signed prior to class. Working with resin is very safe but it is very important to follow all safety guidelines described by the instructor as ingesting or absorbing resin can be toxic.

This class is for ages 12+. Everyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult who is also taking the class.

We recommend bringing a water bottle for class.

FAQ

Is there parking?

Yes! There is a parking lot and street parking at The Hub.

Who can attend?

Due to safety and liability in the space, this is an 18+ course. Students 12+ can take this class with the supervision of a caregiver.

I can no longer attend, what is the refund policy?

We offer refunds for cancellations 24 hours in advance. We recognize that life can be crazy sometimes, but any cancellations within 24 hours of class will not result in a refund. However, if you email us you can take another class at 50% off. No-shows without contact by the time of class will not be provided with a refund or a future discount. Eventbrite processing fees will not be refunded regardless of the time cancelled prior to a class.

What happens if I am late?

Please aim to be at class 15 minutes early so we can start on time/sign waivers. Participants more than 10 minutes late will be considered "no-shows" and will not be refunded nor allowed in the class.

Is this space wheelchair accessible?

Yes! The Hub has ramp access and the shop is on the ground level. There is also an accessible washroom on the ground level. That said, some tools require the user to stand for safe operation.

No dance experience? No Problem! Two left feet? No Problem! No dance partner? No Problem!! Our beginner dance lessons provides newcomers a welcoming space for singles and partners to learn a basic rhythm and move. It's a great ice breaker for meeting new people at the dance party!

Social Dancing

We'll open the floor up to strut and groove to Swingin' Jazz & Blues tunes! Ask some new people to dance, this is the perfect opportunity to try out your new moves from class.

Just want to groove out to the music by yourself? Do it! Please enjoy the music however you feel.

Attendees are not required to wear masks, but if your personal safety protocols include wearing a mask, we welcome and support you.
