You’ll leave with practical tools, greater clarity, and a deeper embodied connection.

Somatic Movement
Somatic movement allows us to become aware of and experience the wisdom of our living body. It allows us to move in ways that strengthen our whole body connectivity and can restore a sense of well being and relaxation to the body and mind.
Melissa is passionate about supporting people to move with more ease and pleasure in their own bodies. Inspired and awed by the natural intelligence and resilience of the human body she is continually exploring pathways for health, mobility and living fully with pain and discomfort.
Learn to deepen body awareness and tune in to your body’s own wisdom. Explore new ways of moving and develop tools and practices that can be taken into daily life.

5Rhythms® is the grandmother practice to mainstream conscious dance forms in Turtle Island and many parts of the world. It’s a phenomenal de-stressor and empower-or of human beings. It requires no experience—just a body that’s breathing and a mind that’s willing to allow you to move to a variety of music. You don’t have to be strong and full of energy to dance with us—but you can! Chantell trained to teach over a decade ago. She’s lived in Quw’utsun since 2005, and offers these dances in devotion to community health and connection, and to the wellbeing and creative choices of each dancer. All people 13+ are warmly welcome. Chairs are available for seated dance. Entrance and washrooms are fully accessible.
