Introduction to Mindfulness

Explore mindfulness practices in a supportive, non-judgmental, small group setting with an emphasis on developing self-awareness, greater emotional insight and improved tools to address life’s challenges.

The course is Tuesdays from April 7-May 26, 6:15-7:15, and participants are free to drop in to individual classes or register in advance for the full 8-week session.

Drop in: $10/session
8-week registration: $30

Led by registered mental health counselor and longtime mindfulness practitioner Christine Harker, this course includes:

  • incremental meditation practice

  • Education about the benefits of mindfulness

  • Brief group counselling
